Our countdown clock doesn’t care that the heat index is 105° and that the Weather Channel strongly suggests that I stay inside. With only double-digit days remaining, it’s time to start checking items fully off the list. I have a lot of projects that are halfway there, the goal is to get them fully to the finish line.
This is a tough job when the heat is high, but I have a few things that I can finish up inside the boat. We’ll see where the day goes, but hopefully at the end there are fewer things on my ultimate to-do list.
Remember, when u have to do a test run on the alternator, we want to be your destination. We will meet you at Rock Hall or Still Pond. Whatever! We want to hang out with you guys more before you leave us!
I received the alternator this morning, can’t wait to verify the fit tonight. There will be multiple shake-down cruises this fall, we’ll hopefully be all over the upper bay, but let’s wait till it cools off a little bit. Perhaps next summer you guys will miss us so much that we’ll cruise Maine together for a few months, eh?
Stay cool. Central Ohio has been pounded with storms again. Matt & Melissa had no power overnight last night. Is that RSS feed working? I’m not having any luck with it.
Is hard to stay cool, but I’m getting some stuff done inside, regarding the RSS feed, you should be able to paste that link into your RSS reader. Let me know if it works.
Your Site is GREAT! Look forward to following your adventure!! ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that I can do to help…just let me know.
Thanks a ton, the carb rebuild kit came in today, along with the alternator package. Lots of fun stuff to do on multiple engines, I’m sure I’ll need some help with those items sometime soon. Any and all advice on mechanical items is always needed!
Thanks for the RSS. The first time I checked in, the icon wasn’t there. Today it is so I hope all will be well! Enjoy reading your posts–must have had good English comp teachers
And here all this time you thought I just skipped Butch’s class!
