[Update: Apparently my phone had some problems with the post from yesterday, this was edited for clarity.]
55 hours later, we have arrived in Fernandina Beach, FL. We picked up a mooring, checked in through US Customs using the “Local Boater Option” (very easy,) and now we’re waiting for a thunderstorm to wash off the boat.
It was a good crossing and we’re glad to be back. We’ll enjoy Fernandina and Cumberland Island while we wait for wind. It’s hot and humid here, so we’re heading north with the next weather window.
This was typed on my phone, so feel free to call if you want to talk. It’ll take awhile to remember that we have phones, and get used to the internet at our fingertips again.
Woohoo! Hope we see you soon!
It shouldn’t be long now!
